What is Open Innovation seeking?
We are interested in journalistic, non-fiction stories about open data. Send us your ideas for briefs, columns, and feature-length articles. Share your success stories about mobile apps that streamline civic processes and engage citizens. Voice your opinion on the state of government transparency. Impart your wisdom on the best data-sharing and data visualization technologies. If it has to do with open data, we want to help you share it with the world.
Does Open Innovation pay commission for stories or a finders-fee for story leads?
Not at this time.
Do I have to to write the story?
We prefer stories that you write. However, some articles may require support from our team.
When does Open Innovation accept submissions?
We accept submissions year-round.
Does Open Innovation accept previously published material?
We prefer fresh, unpublished content. We will consider previously published work so long as you retain rights to sell or re-publish the material.
